About Jake Novak


Jake Novak is the host of the Nachum Segal Network’s, “Novak Now,” a weekly, half-hour look at news that has an impact on the Jewish world and Israel. Novak is a weekly guest on i24 News TV, a frequent commentator on the Mark Simone Show on WOR radio in New York, and is a former senior editorial columnist for CNBC.com. 

In that role, Novak was the website’s top columnist in engagement, shares, and regular readership. His columns – which he continues to post on JakeNovakNews.com, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook – cover politics, economics, social issues, and American culture.

Novak joined CNBC in 2012 as the supervising producer of "The Kudlow Report" with Larry Kudlow. Prior to joining CNBC, he co-created and oversaw the "Varney and Company" program on the FOX Business Network with anchor Stuart Varney. 

Novak also spent several years at CNN, where he produced financial news programs including the successful "In the Money" show with anchor Jack Cafferty.

Novak graduated from the Yeshivah of Flatbush, has a bachelor's degree in political science from Columbia University, and holds a master's degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.
